About this event

Mountains is a live-directed puppet performance by Kyla Kegler in the Artpark amphitheater.

The layered narrative in the fictional story of Mountains leverages big feelings and draws on current events, the real lives of the performers, and archetypal relationships to struggle, lessons learned, and sometimes triumph.

The public is invited to participate in the performance as a member of the socially-distanced big-head-masked movement-choir. If you would like to participate in the performance, you can make your own mask and costume by watching a video tutorial Kegler is providing. You can secure the materials on your own, or buy a kit at the Burchfield Penney Art Center gift shop or on the PLAY/GROUND website.
